The article discusses the influence of American architect Frank Lloyd Wright's work aboard, particularly in Europe. His architectural work was an individual achievement of national importance that proved to be of international influence. His works were recognized and announced earlier abroad than in his native country. The very strength of his regionalism and his individualism have made seem an exotic to some of his compatriots. The overt imitation of Wright's mannerisms or details which appeared in some European buildings was proven that he influenced the continent by his architectural works. |
