This article explores the possible consequences of the 1950s economic and social developments among the eskimos of Thule in Greenland. It presents an overview of the problems that arise during the introduction of a primitive society to civilization. An analysis of the structure of the population in the region is also presented. The economic and social developments are discussed. |
