Abstrakt: The article offers information about a study that evaluates the effect of the application of phosphorus sources differing in water-soluble phosphorus concentration on phosphorus transport in runoff from two grassed and one no-till soil. This is a rainfall simulation study that explores the buildup of soil phosphorus concentrations in many areas due to continual application of mineral fertilizer and manures to meet crop production. Results implicate that phosphorus water solubility in phosphorus sources may be considered as an indicator of phosphorus loss potential.
