The author reflects on the challenges of recruiting teachers for international schools. He says that new international schools are being put up around the world and there is an increase in demand for teachers, but the supply of teachers wanting to teach abroad is declining due to terrorism which discourages them to work and live abroad. He also offers suggestions on widening the school's pool of candidates to motivate young people to get into the teaching profession. |
