Abstrakt: The article demonstrates a method of statistical analysis for the study of the flow of patients admitted to a hospital for the mentally retarded. The concept of the study is to determine the interval elapsing between the date the patient is admitted to the hospital and the date the patient dies or is released. It was found that the probabilities of release varies from one group to another.
