Abstrakt: The article presents a study on the effects of visual stimulation during task performance in mental defectives. The subjects in this study were taken from the mentally defective population in Tennessee Clover Bottom Home. The apparatus and procedures used in the study were presented. The results in this study indicates that there was a disagreement with the notion that increased distal stimulation promotes higher activity and interferes with the performance during a simple motor task.
