`The article presents information on various quality control related issues discussed by the World Health Organization Expert Committee on Specifications for Pharmaceutical Preparations at a meeting held in Geneva, Switzerland from October 25 to 29, 2004. The Committee was informed about the availability of the journal "The International Pharmacopoeia," in CD format, and the status of the development of the journal's monographs on antiretroviral drug substances and finished dosage forms. The Committee was also informed about the work undertaken to develop monographs on antituberculosis drugs for inclusion in the journal. |
