Abstrakt: According to an article in New Zealand Geographic, researchers in Australia have discovered that humans are able to accurately determine the emotional state of chickens by listening to their sounds. The study involved around 170 participants who were sent recordings of different types of chicken calls. The humans were able to gauge the chickens' moods correctly about two-thirds of the time. The researchers hope that this ability could be used in the future to monitor the welfare of chickens in industrial farming settings using AI systems. [Extracted from the article]
