This report provides guidance on the assessment and treatment of mental health symptoms in patients with Post-Acute Sequelae of SARS-CoV-2 Infection (PASC), also known as Long COVID. It emphasizes the importance of using validated screening tools, considering unique populations, and being culturally sensitive in assessing mental health symptoms. Treatment recommendations include referral to specialists, pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions, and addressing underlying medical conditions. The report also highlights the importance of a therapeutic alliance, non-pharmacologic treatments, and equitable access to care.
