Abstrakt: This article discusses a study on the lipid production capacities of two strains of Bacillus bacteria isolated from soil. The study found that these bacteria have the potential to produce lipids, which are valuable raw materials for biodiesel and other compounds. The strains were grown in specific media and subjected to different lysis methods for lipid extraction. It was found that one of the strains, Bacillus sp. E226, had the highest lipid content at 54.5%. The study also compared the lipid production of these bacteria to other studies on yeasts and fungi, noting that the Bacillus strains had higher lipid content. This study is significant as it highlights the potential of Bacillus sp. strains for lipid production and their applications in biotechnology. [Extracted from the article]
