In this study, we present the necessity for a system approach and mechatronics for the analysis of agricultural engineering systems. In fact, the system approach aims to structure the analysis of agricultural systems. So the agricultural industry is increasingly becoming complex and highly tasking compared to traditional practice. The use of mechatronic systems in agriculture has emerged to meet the new requirements in terms of performance, comfort, safety and energy. For this, we present a literature review of system approach and mechatronics in the agricultural engineering field. As a way of illustrating in specific cases, some of the applications of mechatronics in agriculture and their processes are presented to give in insight on the state of the art, advantages and weaknesses of several methods employed. A proposal of a dynamical modeling study of a grain silo of a material flow model using Petri nets is presented. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
