Topics discussed include opioid epidemic put so many patients at risk for opioid use disorder; mentions according to the State Department of Consumer Protection, opioid prescriptions have dropped 25 percent since 2015 and 9.2 percent; and also mentions many Connecticut emergency departments now start treatment for opioid use disorder (OUD) at the time of a patient's visit. |
