Abstrakt: The wister rats were given feed contaminated with mycotoxins T-2 toxin and deoxynivalenol (DON), either alone or in combination, at the maximum permissible dose levels. The accumulation of class G antibodies was studied by using indirect ELISA test involving the introduction of the model allergen. The study revealed that, in general, patterns of frequency and severity of the active anaphylactic shock did not vary significantly in animals from experimental groups and the control. Ataxia, cyanosis, and hind limb paresis were observed as signs of anaphylaxis. Some of the animals had diarrhoea. No lethal outcomes were recorded. An increase in sensitization due to specific antigen was found in the experimental groups. Compared to the control groups. The maximum sensitization occurred in the group of animals which received T-2 toxin in combination with DON. Consequently, there is an increase in the allergizing effect of the model allergen ovalbumin. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
