Abstrakt:	The article highlights management strategies on reproduction of captive ruffed lemurs (Varecia variegata and Varecia rubra), including reproduction information for white and red ruffed lemurs and reproductive management information for institutions considering to be a part of AZA Ruffed Lemur SSP in the future. Topics discussed include several behavioral changes observed among males and females during breeding season, recommendations on checking females' vulvas and birthing practices.
