The measurement and assessment of community satisfaction is uncertain and unpredictable at best. Little research has been committed to determining consistent measures of community satisfaction. This study analyzes the invariance of the factor structure of three domains of satisfaction across two separate waves of data. Scale items were theoretically and statically derived to create three domains of community satisfaction: overall satisfaction, social life satisfaction, and infrastructure satisfaction. Using multigroup confirmatory analysis, this study found the estimated parameters were invariant between the years. This suggests that the Soul of the Community measure delineated into three domains of community satisfaction, are reliable and verifiable. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
