Abstrakt: Much has been made about the lack of educational attainment and overall success of Black men. Despite prevailing notions of perpetual Black male failure, athletics and involvement in Black fraternities have been arenas where many Black men have shown a propensity for success and social justice. With this in mind, the purpose of this article is to present a framework for educating Black men using the themes of athletics and fraternity. The components of this framework are the utilization of (a) real role models and archetypes, (b) cascade mentoring, (c) and academic support.
