Abstrakt:	The article discusses the efforts of the Community Reporting Alliance to support and advance local news reporting to promote strong communities in the U.S. It examines the evolution of the news ecosystem driven in the urban and rural communities in the country. It cites the use of arts-based research, critical literacy and storytelling to recognize new perspectives in reporting.
