Ballet keeps athletes on their toes.

Abstrakt: The article discusses the benefits of ballet as part of sports training. Athletes are advised to engage in ballet for cross-training to help fine tune their performance. Activities in ballet are recognized for strengthening muscles and building and maintaining bone mass and bone density. Some of the reasons why athletes have decided to take up ballet are noted, including to improve core stability, to correct hip alignment and pelvic instability, and to prevent injuries.
