Abstrakt: | The article describes a study to evaluate the efficacy of physical therapy (PT) as an intervention for urinary incontinence (UI) in women with coexisting pelvic, bowel, pelvic organ prolapse (POP) or other symptoms. In this study, women's postintervention impression of symptom improvement was recorded using the Patient Global Index of Improvement (PGI-I). 66 percent of the women in the sample achieved the study criteria for PGI-I defined success. However the small sample size is a limitation. |
