In this article, the author who is the president of the Law Institute of Victoria (LIV) talks about benefits of being engaged with LIV. Topics discussed include role of the Yale Law School (YLS) in organizing legal education events for new lawyers, collaboration between the Melbourne Commercial Arbitration and Mediation Centre, and the Department of Justice and Court Services Victoria to support arbitration and mediation, and appointment of Nerida Wallace as chief executive officer at LIV. |
