Abstrakt: |
A phenomenological model is offered for the mechanism of a drastic increase in the desorption flow density of the native metal atoms under the influence of a high-power density (-∼10[sup 7] W/cm²) electron flux incident on the metal surface. The possibility is discussed of building an electron-optical system capable of producing a submicron probe of a ∼10[sup 7] W/cm² power density. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
