Topics discussed include majority of melanoma linked to overexposure to the sun, the Canadian Cancer Society's recommendation to wear garments made of tightly woven fabrics, factors to consider when choosing a sunscreen, seeking a sun umbrella or a shady tree to escape the damaging rays of the sun and wearing sunglasses that filter out 99 to 100 percent of damaging rays. |
