The article discusses World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) performer John Cena. Particular focus is given to the racialized elements of his performances. It references the concept of multicultural whiteness as developed by theorist Dale Hudson. According to the author, Cena's ability to perform both racialized whiteness and hip hop culture creates a false sense of racial equality which upholds white supremacy. |
