The article focuses on the advancing of efficiencies of uninterruptible power supply (UPS). Topics discussed include power usage effectiveness (PUE) for measuring the efficiencies of data centers, transformerless UPS systems which utilize insulated gate bipolar transistors (IGBT) for all power conversion processes, and true on-line double conversion transformerless UPSs designed for large power applications. |
