Abstrakt: | The article presents a study on the safety and efficacy of an accelerated weightbearing (WB) regimen after matrix-induced autologous chondrocyte implantation (MACI) in the tibiofemoral joint. Background is presented on MACI which has been used as a technique for the repair of full-thickness chondral defects in the knee. The authors say clinical and radiological assessments were performed in 28 knees at 12 months after MACI to the medial or lateral femoral condyle. |
