Abstrakt: The effective viscosity of a homogeneous magnetized shear flow is calculated for the two-dimensional case of hot plasma without rotation and for large Reynolds numbers. The general magnetohydrodynamic equations are solved in the wave-vector space and the spectral density of slow magnetosonic waves (SMWs) is numerically calculated. The analytical solution of SMWs amplification for evanescent dissipation gives the basis of the Kraichnan wave turbulence. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
