A reprint of the article "Take-Home Lead Exposure Among Children with Relatives Employed at a Battery Recycling Facility" which appeared in the November 30, 2012 issue of "Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report" is presented. It describes voluntary blood lead screening clinics for children of workers at a Puerto Rican battery recycling facility. Interventions to reduce blood lead levels (BLL) in children are also mentioned. |
