Abstrakt: The author criticizes the study by R. Simão and colleagues that claims sequence of resistance exercise influence the effectiveness and safety of resistance training program. He notes that the study by G. A. Sforzo and P. R. Touey used by Simão and others failed to provide references that would support their recommendation of maximizing the total training volume. He adds that Simão and colleagues did not mention that difference in repetition is higher in the first set of squats.
