Abstrakt: Verification of the theory of electromagnetic propagation in a ferrite-filled rectangular waveguide with transverse bias is presented. The governing wave equations, in conjunction with the electromagnetic boundary conditions, leads to a set of nonlinear equations. The criteria necessary to support propagating modes are presented.
