Abstrakt: In this paper an implosion of the wolfram wire array to the Al wire target located in the liner center axis is presented. The discharge was operated with a maximal current of 2 – 3 MA and a rise time of ∼100 ns. The Al wire of 250 µm diameter stabilized the phase of the minimum radius. The evolution of the plasma was studied by various x-ray time resolved diagnostics and the Al K-shell lines were registered. [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER]
