The article presents a case study of a 26-year-old African American female with multiple new asymptomatic spots on her arms, legs, and buttocks. Histopathological examination of the biopsy showed a proliferation of nests of melanocytes at the dermoepidermal junction with scattered nests also involving the superficial dermis. It indicates that the patient was diagnosed with eruptive Spitz nevi which are characterized by well-circumscribed nests of spindled or epithelioid melanocytes. |
