The article offers advice for determining the appropriate social media measurement plans and hiring the right service providers. A white paper from the Commission for Intellectual Property Rights is offered as a guide for finding out what the company wants to measure. Automated analysis is presented as an option for big-picture overview in real time but not for high-level insight for counseling senior management.
