The article presents a case study of a 31-year-old primigravida who was admitted for an urgent cesarean-section of non-reassuring fetal heart rate monitoring at 38 weeks of gestation. She had an adequate prenatal care, without history of miscarriage or consanguinity. She developed multiple complications such as electrolyte imbalance, hypthyroidism, and hypoxemia. The diagnosis of progressive ischemic damage was confirmed by neuroimaging studies. |
