Abstrakt: Although over 110 chemical species have been securely identified in the interstellar and circumstellar gas, there are still many data needs for molecular astrophysics. Among these needs are new high-resolution spectroscopic measurements of potential interstellar molecules, in particular organic radicals, metal-bearing molecules, and molecular ions. Ab initio studies that support these experimental investigations are necessary as well. Reaction rate measurements of many ion-molecule, neutral-neutral, and radiative association processes are also essential. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
