The morphological study of adult human larynx in a Western Indian population.

Abstrakt: The article presents a morphological study on the larynx dimensions, fold, and cavity of an adult human larynx in a Western Indian population. It states that digital vernier caliper was used to measure the intact and split larynx. It says that knowledge of human larynx size and proportions is essential for the diagnosis and treatment of laryngeal disorders. Results show that morphological data of the larynx can be use in otorhinolaryngology, laryngeal microsurgery and diagnostic techniques.
