Abstrakt: The above calorimetric equipment with an 'adiabatic' sheathing eliminates almost completely the heat exchange between the calorimeter and the ambient medium. The equipment is suitable for measuring losses in toroidal magnetically soft samples (with an external diameter not exceeding 60 mm), when they are magnetized with alternating currents of several megahertz. The measured powers lie in the range from several tens of milliwatts (an error of 1.5%) to several tens of watts (an error of 1%). Contrary to existing calorimetric installations, the above equipment is suitable for measuring at ambient temperatures which differ considerably from room temperature. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
