The article explores the appreciation of Aboriginal art in a gallery in New South Wales. It argues that knowing and appreciating art to connect the works of art to a history of art practice are different. It stresses that the exhibition is vital for the appreciation of Aboriginal art. It emphasizes the need to educate the less informed public about Aboriginal art than it is about the art of the Renaissance. |
