The article discusses the highlights of the Integrating Ecology Into Macroevolutionary Research symposium held on March 9, 2011 at the Centre for Ecology and Evolution in London, England. The event was attended by researchers from Great Britain, Europe and North America. Andy Purvis of Imperial College London presented a study on Cenozoic planktonic foraminifera. A research on the phylogeny of palms was reported by Bill Baker of Royal Botanic Gardens. |
