The author offers pieces of advice to school business officials on how to deal with people who are unhappy with their budget cut decisions. He suggests to always remain cool by not trying to personalize the issue and to keep in mind that losing one's temper will only cause more trouble in the end. The author recommends stepping back from the situation and try to assess everything from the outsider's perspective. Stress management techniques for school business officials are provided. |
