Abstrakt: Presents a study which examined the hypothesis that women can increase their muscle glycogen stores and improve their exercise performance during the follicular phase of the menstrual cycle. Result of the dietary analyses; Plasma glucose and lactate concentrations; Explanation for the lack of a statistically significant improvement in mean performance time in the study.
