The article presents the opinions of general practitioners (GPs), health and social professions on taking the role of nurses seriously as they have been given posts in the commissioning board. Ms. Gower believes that her role as a nurse will give her more long-term condition responsibilities in designing patient pathways for better monitoring. It also notes the hope of nurse Briony Ladbury on including children's issues in the adult-focused consortia. INSET: RCN survey. |
