The article discusses the importance of paying attention to autumn spraying technique to controlling grassweeds. The type of nozzles that could be used in autumn spraying depending on the timing of herbicide application are air-induction nozzles, angling nozzles, and alternating angled nozzles. Boom height is also considered an important factor when spraying bare soils. Other factors that influence the spray pattern and effectiveness of spraying technique are pressure nozzles, water volume and timeliness of sprays. |
