Abstrakt: The article discusses the development and implementation of the Criminal Courts course at Jacksonville State University. It presents a background of simulations as a teaching strategy, as well as their limitations and advantages over traditional methods of instruction. It cites the reason behind the introduction of the mock trial at Jacksonville State University and its primary purpose. Information is also presented on the use of official indictment forms, motions, location, and props to add more realism to the setting and plot.
