Abstrakt: The article focuses on the economics collection at the University of Kansas, which in 1971 received international recognition as one of the six major collections in the U.S. It was mentioned that Harvard University's Kress Library of Business and Economics curator Kenneth E. Carpenter described Kansas' collection as unmatched anywhere. The collection include theories, principles, and treatises of economists like David Hume's "Political Discourses," Jeremy Bentham's "Defense of Usury" and "Conversations on Political Economy," by Jane Marcet.
