In this article, the author argues the transfer of the detainees from the Guantanamo Bay within the U.S. She contends that the naval base in Guantanamo Bay should be closed followed by an extensive government investigation exploring the events that took place in the bay. Also investigated is the nature of the Executive Order to close the naval base at Guantanamo and the outline of the protection granted to the detainees including the Geneva Conventions and various Supreme Court rulings. |
