Abstrakt: The article discusses a study which evaluated a real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) assay based on the uvrC gene target and identified a sensitive Mycoplasma bovis diagnostic method than other culture techniques. Real-time PCR is a diagnostic technique which identifies infectious agents in clinical specimens. Results showed that PCR was more frequently used than culture and gave useful diagnostic information.
