| Abstrakt: |
The article presents a study that investigates the effect of chronic feeding of oxidized and fresh palm oil on biliary secretion. It states that rats that were fed with fresh palm oil had greater quantity of bile secretion while rats fed with oxidized palm oil diet had lower rate of bile secretion. The study revealed that chronic consumption of oxidized palm oil diets may lead to higher cholesterol as well as elevated liver enzyme levels. |
