The article looks at the history of the Madison Square Garden in New York City. The sides of Pennsylvania Station in New York are being demolished to create the futuristic sports palace called the Madison Square Garden Sports Center. The Garden hosted wrestling matches, bike races, political conventions and circus. Stanford White was the architect of the second Madison Square Garden which was constructed in 1889. |
