The article describes the implementation of a leadership teaching strategy in education. Several ways by which exercises enhance student learning include the practice of decision making, team problem solving, and listening. In the New Truck dilemma exercise, students self-select case roles to understand delegation and team decision-making. Another type of exercise that allows role-playing in the resolution of operations problem is simulation while the Abilene Paradox type exercise demonstrates the need to listen and communicate. |
