The article offers information on type 2 diabetes and how it can be prevented. It states that it is a heterogeneous disorder caused by metabolic defects related to irregular secretion of insulin in the pancreas. It is primarily affected by the changes in the lifestyle, therefore it is recommended to diabetics to increase physical activity and exercise. Bariatric surgery or weight loss surgery is also helpful in preventing diabetes. |
